With July over, August is time for the Clear Thinking Summer School, a time when we pause to reflect on what we’ve loved about the year so far and when we think about the future we are creating and what will happen next.

The Thinking Partnerships Retreat is coming to Blackpool

Bev will be hosting her first cohort of new Thinking Partners at the Thinking Partnerships Retreat in the autumn. We’ve got ambitious plans for enabling clients across the North West and further afield to dial up their innate capacity to think for themselves, and to inspire them to make it a daily practice at work and in life.
We’ve found a fabulous and inspiring venue to host the retreat and somewhere suitably quirky to stay for those who need a bed for the night. We’ll run open Retreats 4 times a year as well as in-house programmes on request. #TimeToThink #ThinkingEnvironment #ClearerThinking
The Coaches Council Launches in September
We’re launching our online peer supervision group for coaches in September too. We did this many moons ago with the OCM and after hosting the Coaches Assembly for the past 18 months, we recognise the enormous value in creating a place where coaches at all levels of experience can come together to connect, discover, learn and practice. So we’re kicking off in September. Details are on our events page now. There’s an early booking discount too.
You’re wondering why it’s a picture of walnuts? Because they look like brains and Coaches Council is all about bringing brilliant brains together. Of course!
Meeting of the Minds
On the subject of minds…
Kate has been bringing brilliant minds together this year, in healthcare, higher education, financial services and local government. She’s supported them to deepen their understanding and appreciation of each other, to build interdependence and use it to boost performance.
Meeting of the Minds is a short programme underpinned by the Emergenetics profile and explores thinking preferences and behavioural attributes so that teams can be flexible in how they connect more effectively with others. What emerges is an appreciation of the importance of unlocking cognitive diversity and a greater willingness to harness ‘team intelligence’ and collaborate.

Culture Club
This year, we’ve loved working on projects that focus on enhancing culture. We’ve been developing programmes that help teams evolve from their current state to where they aspire to be, by transforming how they think, interact with colleagues and engage with their work.
We’re now looking for four new teams who would like to work with us on a bespoke 12 to 18 month programme. If you lead a team and have ambitious plans for the rest of 2024 and beyond, and want to build a strong, supportive culture to ensure your success, we’d love to collaborate with you.

We love to coach. We love coaching online and in person.

For a new daily practice this summer, this summer, you need Deckible!
We’ve recently realised (because we were a bit slow on the uptake ) that we are playing our part in the emerging card deck industry…in fact we were ‘in’ early doors. We launched our Cards for Clear Thinking way before Steven Bartlett released his, and they are sitting pretty on the Deckible app right now!
Card decks are the ultimate shortform media experience, a direction that you’ll be more than familiar with if you are interested in trends in learning and social media. We obviously love our deck, not just as a facilitation or coaching tool, but as an everyday resource. And we ’re fans of lots of other decks too.

That’s a lot, right? We’re super-excited about our plans!
But for now, in August, we’ll take some holidays to rest and re-energise.
We’ll heap attention on family and friends.

We’ll be by the sea and in the countryside.

We’ll sing, enjoy some art and go to the theatre.
We’ll learn something new.
We’ll play.
